Hawaiʻi Island police have identified the woman killed Monday (March 28) after being struck by a vehicle on Route 130 in the Puna District.

Police have identified the victim of Monday morning’s hit-and-run accident as 19-year-old Skye Kahealani Noah of Pahoa.  She was hit and killed by a white 2003 Ford Ranger pickup truck traveling south on Highway 130 near Kaloli Drive.  An autopsy performed on Tuesday (29 March 2016) determined that Noah died “as a result of internal injuries.” Police have ruled the death as an accident.  Those who may have seen the accident should call police at 935-3311.
